Rome's pretty neat, in this page I'll put some of my favourite things about it. Uhh, that's it. yeah
I lied. I made this page because I live here and don't know much about this city. I'm from one of the suburbs and rarely visit the center. I'm both from and not from here. Rome kinda scares me, it's so big! So I decided to slowly (very slowly) put the most interesting things I learn in one place
tips for tourists
- Beware of pickpocketers!;
- Driving here is... an experience. Some people joke about needing a special driving license just for Rome;
- Don't leave any visible bag or backpack or anything else in a car, high chanche it will be stolen!;
- If it rains, traffic jams. All of it;
- A lot of public museums are free on the first Sunday of the month :) ;
- There's a white tiger at the biopark!;
- Trastevere is full of restaurants that both tourists and locals frequent;
- 29 June, Saints Peter and Paul, is a festive day here;
- If you have a bad time with public transports or are disgusted by the trash, you're living the Authentic Experience!.
